Same.

i had a look at http://www.awrracing.com as they seem to make a heap for other 323s, but i couldn't find one for sure that looked like it would fit apart from the MX3 front one.

I'm actually going to see a local mob in the hope of getting some made up. They make them in 85 durometer...but can only make round ones apparently.

I need to dig out my old F series mounts to take as samples...BUT that leads to a question i've been meaning to ask for ages - does anyone have a decent pic of the BA 1.8 drivers side and rear engine mounts?

I had stock mounts melted out and filled with 70 durometer polyurethane. You wont ever need to go harder than that if youre filling a stock mount as there is soo much more to fill over an AWR type set. And trust me I suspended the whole engine on one mount and it wouldnt move (and thats with 70)
Not a cheap way to go though

Dan, might be able to source the pics from club323f, we're offline right now 'cos we crashed the server with too much traffic

I'll ask later tonight, we're being moved to a quiter server

All this durometer stuff is new to me, have mercy on a poly newbie

batman, got any pics of your mounts???? sounds like an interesting process melting out

Had a wee look around cyberspace earlier, Powerflex had a bush that MIGHT fit the front mount with a bit of adapting, couldn't find owt else though :?

I've always wanted to know what the OE durometer rating would be. But after living with 95's for nearly 18 months I'd be fairly confident custom 70 durometer 'solid' mounts would be more than enough. Plus you wont have the 'lets vibrate everything possible' feeling, especially on cold starts.

Yes wa unimpressed I sent a full set of mounts plus some for nate. They were MEANT to take a mould of the placement of the centre hole (which is not centre ) then melt out the OEM rubber and fill with 70 duro poly. At $88/ mount (plus I had steering rack bushes made) I was not happy to find the holes were now centred (I will be able to get them to fit with some effort) and the length of insert tube was mixed up (long one is on wrong mount). Luckily I still have tricks up my sleeve on how I can sort this out.
But to keep it in this thread it is possible. And dont expect that you wont get sheuuder from engine especially on warm up as with a solid filled mount there is much more ploy than an AWR (size wise) and it is hard as hell.
DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF ??"hey but my stereo isnt on"??
If you get some made up MAKE DAMN SURE THEY DONT CENTER YOUR SLEEVES
Also in my opinion to fill an OEM mount with poly 45-60 durometer will be ample
