Exclamation What frequencies can you hear *TEST*

How much can YOU hear ?

I've made some clean wave files with tones from 13.0 khz up to 17.0 khz. The older you are, the less you will be able to hear :shifty:

13000 Hertz
13500Hertz
14000Hertz
14500Hertz
15000Hertz
15500Hertz
16000Hertz
16500Hertz
17000Hertz

-
me: 15.5, after that i'm deaf :ß
age: 32

UPDATE
-------
10-22khz RAISE
12 seconds long, every 1 second the frequency is raised by 1khz ...

procedure: play the file and as soon as you cant hear anything, press the PAUSE button to see how much time has passed since the start...

it would have been good to have them for all the way to 20kHz (highest frequency people can normally hear) or higher ... speakers don't normally go much higher than 22kHz ... I can hear all the way through to and including 17kHz at 35 years old ...

I hear that one right through to the end, but it sounds like it goes up and down in waves, quite strange. I guess that means I hear certain frequencies better, but I hear them all...?

mhm no, you can do a spectrum analysis, it's a straight raise from 10-22khz, no waving around ^^

I don't hear a steady linear rise in pitch, just waves in volume, note, etc... But I hear the whole lot (and it's annoying).

I'm 27 and can hear all them. It's like that ringtone that adults aren't supposed to be able to hear. Most "adults" I know can hear the bloody thing!

I'm 29, can't hear sh!t.
Anything above 15.5 KHz and i'm deaf as a door knob, got a friend over laughing at me, says she can hear 'em all easy.
Maybe got something to do with that mortor shell that landed 3 yards from my head. That's a story.
Anyways, bet i win this one hands down. I'm the deafest MOFO on this forum.

not really, actually you're perfectly fine for your age...

did i mention that hearing a TONE does NOT mean that you sense some slight tinitus/pressure? that doesn't count ^^
