Any R/C drifters on here?

Hey guys,

Just seeing if any other 1/10th drifters on here?

Mad Mat kinda got me hooked when he had has RX7 drifter out fanging it around after the dyno day, gave me a go and absolutley loved it, and my fiance saw that I was loving it, so went out and bought me one on ebay as a present for putting up with her for 3 years (please dont hurt me tash, I still love ya )

Its a Tamiya TT-01 S15 drift machine, picked it all up for $250 posted

I know Gtarone is going to be picking one up after his holiday in a month, but who else drifts??

Cheers
Marc

here's my baby :)

i have a TT-01D tamiya drift car.

it is the same as marc's but it has the rx7 case with led pods and neons
After about 3 months of running the standard gear i though it was a time to change my motor and esc.
from:

so i installed my 8.5 turn brushless losi motor and losi9500 esc.

OMG the difference in power and control is incredable.

i have currently in my study/rc work shop lol a ball bearin lsd, aluminim drive shaft (as the plastic one get's a himonic frequance in it once i reach about 30.000 rpm) and a new rx7 case. but i'm lookin 4 a 323 case. if someone knows where i can get one. let us know

This was my drift shell for many years before I started using it. It's a little battered up now.
It's just 3 colours of paint with thin red pin stripes and decals everywhere.

its in the garage atm, and i cant be bothered going out there, ill take some photos on wednesday while im off work, its a fairly simple setup though, just a new speed control and a simple tamiya sports tuned motor, enough to make it slide nicely on the nice set of tamiya drift wheels. funny u should hav mentioned this though, i actually only got it running again on saturday it spent about 9 months sitting on my shelf and it took my less than 2 minutes to fix,

ok so i felt really lazy so i decided id go get it, its not got my normal motor in it atm, its got a crappy 15 turn motor in it atm, which is faster than my normal sport tuned motor but i really dont like it, my rear diff has died bcoz of it, i notice on saturday it kept spinning out on right hand turns, i then discovered the rear right wheel is slipping something feirce. going to go get that fixed soon, thats my setup.....

and my tattered R34 shell i use for drifting, thats just what came with the car, ive also got a lamborghini shell ( cant remember if its gallardo or muciellago),

the black wheels are just my tyres for in the street, these gold ones have my drift tyres on them and i have a white set that has a better race slick set, that i only use when racing, which i havnt done in a long time.

but yeh ive had it for about 4 years now, and thats the original shell. its not the fastest one ever but more than enough to have a good time with.

oh and sorry bout the large images,
