How much to get rear bumper painted ??

Just wondering if anyone ROUGHLY knows how much it costs to get a rear bumper painter (or front as they're roughly the same size) got a couple of quotes local and they seem very HIGH.

Car is Silver (SP20 silver)

PS Bumper has already been removed

what do you consider High.

It's hard to paint Off the car if it's integral. Most shops hate it because you can't blend it in. Then you get complaints. Solid colours and older paints no issue.

Older cars you can do it off the car no worries you have a large split line. But on body hugging wrap around with minimal you want to blend it in even if it's is just the top clear so you get even reflection.

But price depends on WHO does it. Plus if we are talking SPECIAL RATES

Including CASH - Piss off Mr Howard GST
MATES - RATES
BACK YARD RATES
Apprentice rates. - this one is like death in some cases but every now and then you get lucky. These day Apprentices won't take 6 packs for payment - they want 8-balls and bags - which I have no Idea why an apprentice would want Ball off a Pool table - Gearstick maybe ?

I can't give you a price I never pay full price. I never do half jobs Sorry.

You really want a price
Going Sydney rate is $150 for your drop off and pick up cash. It will look like **** to a trained eye.
Wollongong shops are close to that too.

No worries, I was quoted near $500, I was like way tooo much, thought about $300 would be around the right price. I will get a few more when I head back home.

if you are really tight on money. why not do it yourself? you can get paint in a can from supercheap (paint matched). It costs about $33 a can. and whatever else you need. I havnt painted a bumper before but i did just paint my side mirrors and they turned out very good
