Paint it silver (or slightly darker) it'll look much better than black and maybe a little more unique.

Depends on the car - the quote and the amount of wrap.

Heaps of cars in sydney have that Advertising crap done on them. From Mr Hooker to the Bread man.

alot of them are so large they cut them to the rough size then install and make the smallest of nicks and tucks mostly at the seams.

As for time- If you look at the bread vans and the others parked in sun all day yes minor fade. But if your worried about afterwards.

One buff and all them white VW polo/golf combo things always come up good. it's the interiors and merchanicals that need the attention.
On the black Mr HOOKER cars they seem to again come up good after 3-5 years. Except for the ones which have had smoking agents in them. Normally around the area of wrap near the drivers door it has peeled a bit and the dirt gets into it.
But being a corolla no none notices. they don't get big money because they are black.

btw what are those latch looking things on your bonnet?
they are Aerocatch locking hood pins, Since i no longer have the OEM hood latch these are used to secure my hood (recommended with CF), and i can lock them to make sure the engine bay is secure

If you have a carbon fiber bonnet in nsw you must have hoodpins to make it legal

should be that way globally. I've seen too many CF hood break around the latch and smash the windshield.

I have the aerocatch hoodpins on my CF hood. I've had several hoods with different style pins and I can confidently say these Aerocatch ones are the best I have ever had and also look the best as well! Although I was nervous cutting that large of holes in my hood...

Went looking through this massive Australian detailing wholesaler and found this product. After reading a few reviews I wonder if this could be used over fake cf wrap to give it a genuinely hard clear coat layer, adding a shine and depth like a real one would? Seems like a pretty permanent and cheap solution to protect your paint too!
