ok took it around the block

so many things when wrong
i think i need a new afm as its not able to go over 1900rpm and it just pulse you back and forwards till you stop accelerating and the rpm doesn't stay at one point at idle
or do you think ive connected a vac line up wrong too?

also took the cap off and it was milky
so many have a blown head gasket too or just a crap load of moisture from being sitting?
....
...

much more information needed m8. Radiator cap or oil filler cap? If it's oil filter cap there are 2 likely causes.

a) Inlet manifold gasket torn
b) head gasket torn

Have you recently had head removed/replaced?

How milky? This may explain the rough throttle response (water in cylinders effecting spark)

Give us more info to work with

oil cap

i think its stopped being milky now, i think it was just because its being sitting for ages

i havnt touched the head

i think the cutting out is caused by the afm ,video below is with tps disconnected and shows how up and down rpm is at idle

ok soooooo after ages i ended up taking the afm off to see if it cuts out with it out

turns out that it could idle with no afm WTF (so it was running in limp home mod) thats why it was running mega rish

so after more time it turns out inside the plug that connects to the afm a wire under the rubber seal was broken so soldered that on and brrrrrrrm brrrrm pessssss

yea goes mean after timing it , smoke is gone now,and the headgasket is ok now the white **** has stop showing up

zip tide temporarily fix hehe......going to put better bumper on later

hmm....

black around the top has been cleaned up as it was faded and car has been cleaned

looks weird with no exhaust poking out

hmm might put the facelift bumper back on
but don't really like having the intercooler showing

still got to fix the grill and i am going to put the 3 mesh stuff behind the grill

also got to fix bonnet latch as its not closing right

also got autometer cap, to stop my gauge from flying around

----------------------------------------------

the 3 mesh just didn't look right

any way so more pictures and a video is that belt noise normal or is it the alternator bearing?

http://s841.photobucket.com/albums/z...t=P8220026.mp4

really need to get a new bar piece as thats crap

also the plug on the head light loom that has the rpm wire to gauge ect whats the big blue wire do

also cant work out how to get temp?

mate, it'll be OK once you sort the bar out. You didn't consider just gutting the inner of the bar? Or even grinding a bit of the rad support away to jam the IC back a little? You could brace it or fasten it later somehow I'm sure.

Anyway. just keep plodding along. Your getting there!
