A defect notice doesn't mean that the faults listed are actual faults.
Get the actual problems sorted and get a RWC before you go ripping your car apart for no reason.

Given the passion in your post the officer [cough] took some offence to your attitude and now you have to pay the price.

I just stand by one rule

don't lower or lower in point to make it look lowered.

I've never had trouble with any of my cars - every defect was given to a car I didn't own. 90% lowered - the other OBVIOUS DEFEACT - CARBY STICKING OUT OF BONNET - AND EXHAUST NOTE OF 13B - PP

as said you attitude might of been it. Most of the time you just have to ask why.

Don't know your system in SA but if you think it's factory tint all oyu have to do is have it proven with light meter - meeting the current ADR/ local rules and regulations. don't have to remove it. Removing it is the way they win.

I've gone back to cop shops to show them certificates - or proof - blue slips etc etc. most of the time they are torn up.

lolz

is your car lowerd? if yes how low?

one time my soara's air bags stuffed up and the car stuck 4cm off the floor (no boddy kit) and i was driving it to work until i go the astina. (its fixed now) Looked awsome but now the controller won't make it get that low . one time i got stuck on the driveways gutter, got my 2 unger bros to sit on the back so the wheels were tuching the floor :P. Now its just sitting in the garage with the astina, soon to be joining my 300zx. Its coming out of the workshop soon, Its a shame i cant drive it

that makes sense...
apparently 60 interstate cars have made it into sa a few days ago for a defect blitz.
they're everywhere! and yes they are complete wank*rs too...
we even got some po po activity in the hills last nigh - so we broke up and met up again - lets see one po po follow 4 cars taking different roots at once :P
as mentioned man, all those things listed are not necessarily legit defects and would probably pass a proper inspection.

i got an sms from a mate saying about that defect blitz, its coz of all the fast and furious wankers trying to race eachother.. so now we all have to pay for it. its crap. two weeks of full on cops everywhere and defect being givin out like junk mail, just because of a few idiots....

its annoying but, it comes with the job. dont want cops looking, dont want people looking, dont mod a car. simple.

yeah tailgaters annoy the crap out of me. are you gay, get the **** off my ass!

on another note (QLDers will understand this more), how many cops are there in kingston/woodridge? driving through there to go-karting, saw 10~ cop cars in about 5 min.

one decided to speed out of a turning lane, get up behind me and follow me all the way. he ended up pulling a bright orange skyline up instead (thank god for loud, obnoxious skyline drivers). mate in the backseat was disappointed, he's never been pulled up before

i hate ppl in 4WD's who pull out on you!

i was on a main road goin home today and i stupid tool in a 4wd pulled out on me in a 100k zone, i quickly changed lanes and held the horn down all the way past him. and he had the nerve to give me the finger? i didnt even do anything wrong you loser... he then proceeded to speed upto me, change lanes without indicating, overtake a few cars then swap 2 lanes without indicating again, to get off the main rd.... jeez. and they wonder why there are accidents.

cops are pricks generally, I live in Mornington Peninsula & between them & the poofters on pushbikes, I had enough! WHY do you think I got a STOCK looking 323 (blow your doors off but, you don't know it, cops don't know it & I'm sweet)

btw, I thought SA was easy peesy? Don't even need to RW car when selling/buying man, I mean, that's cool

which is why i am moving to 2 wheels as opposed to a hotted up car (with a bit of luck...)
and just keeping a clean, stock daily with nice wheels...
so hopefully that won't draw too much attention.

Thought i'd add my angry ran to this convo

Today i sat at the lights for a total of 10 minutes due to the fact this old man infront of me in a camry didn't think he could turn right because there was no green arrow. so we sat there at green until it went red, then green again after about 5 minutes i was holding down the horn it seemed to work after about 8mins then we crawled down the road at 10 kmph where he then decided to pull over and let us all past which was around 15 cars that had now piled up behind him ARGH!!!!
