BG headlights unexpectedly closing at night
At night with the headlights on the headlights suddenly close for no apparent reason and everything goes black. The usual thing to do is press the manual headlight opener and this raises the headlights and turns them on again.
I think this is a common problem because you see BGs driving around during the day with their headlights popped open. My guess is a relay or some elec contact in the column switch set - mine CSS feels loose -, so to save time I was wondering if anyone knew which part causes it as chasing an intermittent fault is a real pain. |

It must be something on the light switch lifting of the headlights circuit because manual open coupled with the lights being on lifts and turns the headlights back on again.
