we got slugged $25 to see the cars, not sure if you're talking about entering a car or just looking.

Depends on the Cams, whether Holden ECUs are accomodating or not. Some cars with cams will run pretty well with standard ECUs others will not. Some cars will tolerate some change in cam profile, while a big change will have it grasping at straws.

it was a bit of a ripoff to enter though. it was 140! considering the entry was 25, and the cars all payed either 140 or 280 (late fee) as would have made a mint from the shows!

yeah, me and my friends were pretty disappointed with the show especially compared to the one two years ago. Cost us 5x more and there were less cars. Although there were some great cars there.
We're thinking about just going to all Jap days instead, bigger turn out and they're free |

Im wondering how hard it would be to import a BJI Familia Wagon from Japan that has the FS-ZE & tiptronic auto... reason being they are 2 huge variances that we didnt get in any of the 323's here...

oh yes if you wanna rego it. but from you original post, it sounded like you only wanted the engine and gearbox.
yes expect to pay $7K+ for a complied car. |

yes, the wire gauge will be fine and since your wire is not that old it should be ok (providing the speakers you are putting in are not like 400WRMS) however if you are willing to spend some time running new bigger gauge wire through the door, it wont hurt
im not exact about the specifics but the top end sound (as in turned u the loudest) might even sound clearer with fresh and/or thicker wire |
