Go get some cheap Honda Civic or something lights from the wreckers to practice on, it's one of those things you're surprised about how easy it was and wonder why you didn't do it sooner
Having said that, I bought a second pair of headlights before I was game to try it

The tint does block a bit of light, but its still pretty bright and I dont get flashed no more, so thats a plus

I believe Matt/RED3VIL used a cheap ebay tint, tint that doesnt go well with high temp whereas I went with Lamin-X I have used before on the fogs, they have lasted 18mths now and are still going strong

Try the look with cheap eBay vinyl I've got it on my fogs 'to see what it looks like' and it's been there for at least 6 months without a problem now But it's no where near as nice as the lamin-x I've got on the tails, but tyre shine keeps it shiny.

I can't even remember what shade I went with though... It doesn't block too much light, I even made it through defect stations at schoolies with it on somehow, maybe because it wasn't a commodore
