all other interior lights in my car are now blue... so it only makes sense to change the dash to blue!

every single light in the interior is blue already except the dash lol so to me, thats whats annoying me!! lol my head unit is blue, all the heater dials are blue etc so the blue in the corner of my eye is already there lol

Hey Marc... News flash... Red is a colour!!
But I am with you! Red!!!!! Lol

And you got to take into consideration that your other interior lights don't shine in your face like the dash does.
If you really want blue, I find it's nicer to have the lights where the needles are a low intensity blue, an make the others a low intensity white.
Makes the needles a solid blue colour. But the dials fade from blue to a white.
Depends on cluster design tho.

Only reason why I give warning is because I have had to redo some mates clusters for that reason... Drove them crazy.

EDIT: as said, if you are fine with the blue and it doesn't annoy you go for it.
Just giving a bit of warning to others reading

Yeah, definitely agree with the blue, I just did that test just before and my eyes are still hurting :/
I'm heading down the red path anyway, just so everything all blends in together (HU, dash and HVAC)... That is if I can be bothered changing the HVAC lights

Muhahahahaha I win!
Knew I was into something! sometimes I get something right
If you place that same torch pointing into the cluster, check out how much more reflection you get off your drivers side window. Then compare it to the stock red.
Makes it really annoying everytime you turn right.

EDIT: obviously it's going to be more because it would be a brighter light that behind your dash...
But you realise just how much more sensitive your eyes are to a blue light compared to red.

My car is blue... That's more than my fair share... So I need my red dials!

No thanks, my eyes have had enough already haha!

The 360 degree SMD LED's are what are supposed to be used? To avoid 'hotspots'?

Lol! I said... If you are fine with the other blue lights and neons etc then you will probably be ok with the dash and it won't annoy you ;p

Just word of caution to readers that are wanting to do the same mod.

You can use what ever you want. Doesn't have to be smd's
And doesn't have to be 360dege
Anything wide angle led will do the trick.
