Sorry to offend u!!!
I dont give a F**ck if someone doesnt buy it caus of what i said. I would rather the car go to someone who cares more about the car and not to someone who wants to buy into something that has nothing to do with them. So unless u are going to buy the car, go write ya crap on someone elses thread.

I haven't posted since my initial "WOW" post earlier, but i've been monitoring this thread and i'd just like to say this..

With the exception of some of our younger members who can't drive, and other members you sport other modified cars [Hyundai, Pulsar SSS and the like] most of us here on the forums actually own an Astina, let alone a modified version of it. Your best bet would be to throw your car up onto http://www.drive.com.au and sell it on there for around $20 I think with unlimited 2 week re-newals, if the offer is still available.

There's no use getting narky in a place like this.. we all share a common interest here. Just because someone puts a light hearted comment forward doesn't mean you need to start a **** fight as this then becomes a direct reflection on your personality. We all get along pretty well here dude, of course there are times when we have a go at one another, but it's in the name of fun. So get over yourself and enjoy our little community.

Good luck in selling it.. I hope that you do in fact put it on drive.com.au as I sold my brothers car on there in about 3 weeks. That was a modified Laser.

Regards
Adam

Thanks man. Point taken.
I just get sick of having to put up with f##kwits every time i try and sell a car. Like i said if they dont want to buy my car cause of something i said well who gives a f##k!
The overall feedback to my car has been good but as you have read there is one looser who has started this ****fight with his braindead comments. It is sad that such a great site has members of that IQ. It only takes one looser to f##k it up for everyone.
My point is that blame is unfairly pointed at me when i have answered all posts on my car with respect untill the looser started. Maybe u should think about what starts it in the first place. I am also on another web site for ford lasers and i have never had a problem with dickheads. And as far as me getting over myself, I hope what i have just written explains my point of view.

Regards Paul.

The car will be run at the Jamboree in September. It is also in the next issue of Fast Fours magazine.

I have only run the car on the G-Tech so far in full street trim running premium unleaded. Best time was 12.6 with a bit of wheelspin on 14psi.

The car is being stripped of the interior at the moment and is being tuned to run more psi and C16 fuel. I am hoping for low to mid 12s. Any less and i will be stoked.

For the strip i am running Yokohama Advan full slicks. 195/55 x 15. Hope they will have a bit of give in em so it doesnt **** another box on the start line! I am runnin a BP Twin cam box for the run and its locked. Hope its stronger as i am on the 10th 1.6 box at the moment.

10! Is it like Subway when you buy 8 boxes you get the 9th free? , hope it all goes well dude, Im a fellow BG owner, looking forward to the fastfours article. Hmm removing the interior eh? I might consider that as my next performance mode, all it seems to do is freakin rattle anyway

I think its price.
I remember somebody saying he was buying 1.6 boxes for $350 each
against the $700+ for a 1.8 box on the fordlaser site.

Regards

Mal

Yeah Mal you are right. The 1.6 seems to be the cheaper alternative. I was told that the 1.8 twin cam box is stronger. Does anyone know if its true or not?

By the way the car is still for sale and is now $18,000 with $50,000 in reciepts. C,mon guys dont u want a Fast Fours feature car?

I would say that the 1.8 boxes can take a beating. My box is still going strong even with the limited slip diff now and the increase in power.

If you are getting the 1.8 box get the BG model one as they are not all
the same. The later BA Astina box is the same as the KJ Laser and are
crap based on my 4 in 4 years with only 11psi of boost on a standard
turbo. Having said all that your first box would have been a 1.8 twin
cam box wouldn't it and you still busted that one quickly.

Best of luck still think bracing and maybe billet gears are the answer
for you.

Regards

Mal
