Well i got a new stereo today since i sold the old one in epic amounts of time (4 people wanted it)
So in a rush i got this one. Its a Pioneer AVH-P4450BT. It is AAAAAAMMMMAAAAZZZZINGGG! Couldn't be happier. Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, amazing EQ. Super clear. (You probably all have iPod connectivity, i've been living without it for years now ) Sorry for lame phone pics. I might go do another photoshoot soon. (Maybe tonight even) Installing the mic was a bit of a pain. But it works great. I'll be ringing everyone now handsfree! Last edited by Ben; 19-06-2012 at 07:34 PM. |

Head unit looks sick! I bought the P4250BT a few years ago - looks like it has the same features as your but with the smaller screen and buttons down the side. I was looking for something like yours (big screen + bluetooth) but it didn't exist All 7" screen Pioneer units seemed to lack BT!
Enjoy!

No, its stock height. I do have Pedders sports ryders shocks though since a mazda one crapped out. (Sounded like a dog barking haha) So decided to install something better for when ever i want to lower it (If i do) Plus it handles so much better. I did that before even joining the forum, wish i knew about autoexe ones.

Thats the one i was originally looking at but i didn't like the small screen. I like to keep it slimline, which this one is much more. I've got a better picture, i'll upload it soon when i can be bothered to get the camera out of the car |

But i assume you got your clear side indicators through ebay? if so... how much? and link to the seller? and were they direct plug or cut and solder? I have always planned on getting them... but just never got around to it

If you are willing to pay more, get these - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mazda-323...ht_2312wt_1280 - just direct plug-in, no mod required and same quality with the stock ones. or these - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MAZDA-323...ht_1397wt_1046 - if you like crystal clear

Mine are none of those. Mine look like this.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-Cour...#ht_886wt_1024 But i WOULDN'T of paid over $40 for them because I'm cheap. But i have the chrome looking ones. They weren't a straight fit, the plug needed sanding. Hard to explain, but when you get it you'll see. Took about 2 minutes to make them fit. Easy to do. Here's better pics of the stereo. It changes colours Aaron It fits super flush with the dash |

I dunno why you guys have to muck around to make the plug fit, when the stock plugs fit fine

The plug it came with didn't fit into the original wiring loom from memory, and to fit the stock plug it has too many little lock in notches, just had to sand one off. I remember clean cookie had to do the same. He might remember more than me

Did a test fit of my lip today. Cannot physically take off anymore stickers. Fingers hurt. I'm going to take it to my buddy tomorrow to get a more accurate quote and a quote for a few other things. Hopefully he will say "Leave it here and pay me when you can" and he also removes the rest of the stickers... Dreaming right??

Couldn't Marc remove the stickers before selling it to you?
