dave13bt's 91 bg astina sp

hi everyone
my project is a 91 bg 323 astina sp when i picked it up it had 251000 on the clock had miss matched wheels and needed a paint job and put back together i brought it off ebay for $400(don't know if thats cheap of dear) it has the sunroof but doesn't work very well. the reason i brought it was because i had a major car accident in my partners mazda 3(all fixed now) it seems all the silvers cars i have driven or owned someone decides to run into me. anyway i have respray the car myself as i'm a spraypainter by trade. it is blue pearl metelic with silver pearl in the clear with a jet black roof. and the moulds and mudflaps done in jet black too. i'm currently running the wires for the stereo i have made a custum rear parcel shelf that has a set of 6-9's the sub and amp are going in the boot and i have sony xplod splits in the front doors. now i have the fun job of putting the car back together.
thanks dave

love it.
do you have any future plans for the motor?

finished off my parcel shelf last night and my new tyres arrived at work today(cost me $65 a tyre) need to fit them in the next couple of weeks and paint under the parcel shelf black to tidy it up. have put new front disc's on and new bendix pads all round also new cv boots inner and outer now i have run out of money for abit so i have to save up to do more.

thanks mate,
unfortunately im on my L's, and will be driving this car on my P's,
so i can't do any modifications to the motor. but i will probably get some lowered springs and upgraded shocks,
and a new exhaust system from manifold back.
oh, and some rims

and i will probably have to make a new parcel shelf in mine too,
as it had 6x9's in them before i got it, and it split,
but for now i have just put aluminum bracing underneath it.

Ghoru- practice as much as you can, remember an painter who rushes his work will create runs and imperfections if you need advice on painting don't hesitate to contact me. there is a book you can buy for spraypainting most auto stores should have it.

done abit more on the sp put in two autometer gauges oil pressure and volts and finally finished put all my stereo in with pioneer amp and sub in the boot and sony xplod 10 stacker underneath the parcel shelf put my sony xplod headunit in that was in my mini. put in a new handbrake cable and gear boot during the week got a new rear muffler of ebay only cost $30 and abit of my time to weld in looks good i think. also put some alloy checker plate on front door trims had holes in the trims thats why i did it. i have given the idea away about putting in the race seats in maybe do that at a later date. i hope to have it on the road in december but that depends on the funds.
