i spoke to bob at whiteline. got em for $66 inc GST. they raped me with postage tho so go and pickup if at all possible. im gunna report them to TNT for dodgy practices as they dont weigh 5 kilos!!!

anyway all i need is a metric 14 x 1.5 tap and itll be done!!! if anyone can help itd be great

yeah its a smooth gloss so grease and crap just wipes strait off. the brace came up good too. gave it a good work out round my local industrial area today

actually heres a funny story. after i took 1 photo i had a look at it on the computer and though 'oh **** my strut towers are all bent!!!' but after a quick drive down to mazda and a crosscheck on a stocker sitting there it was found to not be the case

well all up it cost me $20 for the rocker and $5 each for the strut ends.

that probarbly works out to 4GBP :P

no real prep work required on the cover either...if there was they did that too

oh and i gotta thank Mr Mazda (local workshop) too for letting me borrow the rare assed size tap that whiteline use in the end of their alloy bars.....saved me $100

hmm ok..i have no idea how it works. might just disconnect it cuz it looks crap and i never use it :P

oh another thing i wanna do is move the lock that happens when u push the brake to a button in the cabin....can this be done??

yes you can do that, or just disconnect it and it won't do anything... i left it on, coz of the way my locks are setup... the wire should be near the switch on your brake pedal... it needs a positive switching

and i was joking about the strut bar, but am v. interested... only hassle is i drive a 1.6.. this requires the strut bar to be higher than the 1.8 and 2.0 due to the higher placemtn of the intake manifold
