Driving light mounting

I often see photos of Proteges and Astinas [BJ series] with driving/fog/spots mounted in the holes in the front-dam. Are they mounted using the threaded bolt into the dam? Or is there a special mounting kit?

Tks for any answers,..Jason

Send a message via ICQ to JDM323
they have their own mounting brackets. sp20 is different to stock 1.8.
my thread shows sp20 from inside the bar.

The lights just mount to the bumper - they have built-in brackets

Thanx for that,...I guess a proper mount is better than expecting a single bolt mounted in plastic to do the job :-)

Thanx for that info :-)

I note that the driving lights come specifically designed for the Mazda shaped hole [mine's a 1.8] The previous owner has inserted X shaped stamped aluminium mesh in the 2 holes and the radiator/condensor intake.

In the eye of the beholder I guess. I'd prefer some spots in there myself.
