They would be rare now in NZ. There was 3 different specification levels. They better had 4 wheel disc brakes and had a 1.6 DOHC EFI with an early form of vics and loved to rev. They were fun to drive and had really short gearing on the first 3 gears (1st-40, 2nd-75 and 3rd 110! at redline) They had a speed limiter at about 195 km/hr I have got a few photos of my old etude and some photos of my 1991 BG 3 door Familia GT. If any one wants to see them I'll scan them and put them up. |

hmm thanks guys, I'll see what the other brissy boys come up with
Im going to be doing them with the spare set I have nabbed off Mat, as I am thinking this might be the cause of a rough idle I have had on and off for about 6weeks now, and having 98 octane fuel in it all the time doesnt seem to have stopped it

Protege Astina Looks to me that the hatch one is different, as you have the left side piece come off for the tow hook

Plus looks like more of an indent at the bottom of the boot with shorter tail lights.

brizbane boy, i think you might need a bigger rear lip, as your kit is all pretty chunky, an it might not match it right. i had sp20 sides on my Laser an it just Didnt Work With the kit at all. They were too small. Just tryin to help.

moved from a different thread
got an idea for my headlights, as i cbf (as well as scared of breaking something) taking apart the headlights to do the LED conversions, i was thinking about fibre glass over the lights so the bonnet and bumper are flush, with a tube/hole for the projector. like this, opinions?

i jsut went to repco and asked for some rear number plate bulbs and without a model or whatnot he seemed to get the right ones as they fit and work perfectly. were a wedge sorta thing though? (possibly one of those T10's? for a hardtop btw. so idk how much they vary from car to car!
my question though is where do i get dials that look like this: http://astinagt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8096 with the colours and everything for my BA? had a look on ebay and didnt see anything which i liked particularly - either that or they were $220 :S maybe im looking in the wrong place???
