IM pretty impressed by the new mx5. we have a 2001 Model one n i think its great. i heard the new mx was actually gonna be that blue concept car they had out. which looked like **** and also looked like it had been painted with a roller. the new mx 5 looks a bit like a mazzarati
the new engine is a 2.0 L but the 1.8 makes like 115 Kw ? dosent it?

oops, I'm wrong on the kilowatties

*my bad*

my comparisons have the stats read like this:

113kW @ 7000rpm
181Nm @ 5000rpm

And check out this MX5 MPS shown at Tokyo motorshow in 2001
http://www.mazda.com.au/currentNews....604#Article-80

147Kw @ 7000rpm
196Nm @ 6000rpm

It has the BP-VE na 2ltr but with the current shape, uber 53><0r!

the new one has better torque and better curve.

I like the original my self the B6 especially one on boost. Best model was the mazdaspeed supercharged version from 95.
