Question Stalling on deceleration & stopping

Hi, I have a 1990 manual Mazda Astina with 476,000 ks on the clock. For some time now it has an intermittent stalling problem as you slow & activate the clutch. A clicking sound, obviously a relay, comes from what sounds to be under the LH side of the dash & the car stalls. It restarts immediately when the key is activated. From what I can gather, it may be the fuel pump relay that is playing up. Any answers?
