I havent actually heard what the kicker splits are like, but one of my mates had MTX 6.5" splits in his pulsar, and man oh man, they are very crisp and precise in bass & mid-range! They are around $220/ pair, pretty goo,d for money...

if you were talking about Kicker subs, I can personally say that they are a beaut sub (even better if the are in there own ported box), mine is rated at a measly 125wrms and it kicks ass!!

I dont know if that helps, just thought i'd join in on the thread

It was a different model...what i cant believe is why they had it for $200 while JBHIFI and the likes had it for double that!!!
