if you just want to change the sound the muffler would be quickest and often cheapest part.
if u wanted to keep the muffler im not sure, cause as far as i know, its ultimately what determines your end note?

on my bg the standard setup was center muffler and rear muffler after the catalytic converter but i replaced the center muffler with a larger resonator which made my exhaust louder and deeper but it didnt drone. sound was pretty good. too bad i sold my car already i could have recorded it for you to hear

In the fuse box the BJ there are two relays for the fans - one for the main cooling fan and one for the a/c fan. Obviously, with these relays there is "power in" from the battery/alt, "power out" to the fan, "tigger" in and "ground".

Does anyone know if the "power in" is constant? Or is it switched "on" with the ignition circuit like the injectors and coils?

EDIT:
Or is there a constant 12v going to the fans and the relay in the fuse box just grounds each of the circuits (fans)?

Cheers.

Are you able to test it with a multimeter?

Yeah, I can but that means getting a multimeter from my brother (which I can't do until the weekend)

I was hoping that someone would know off-hand.

Basically what I am trying to do it get constant power to two new fans. So if there is constant power on the current fan plugs on the radiator then I can just tap into those

After deciding between replacing the doors on the missus' BJ or bogging, i'd replace them. They're very thin compared to BA, and thin/flexible flat panels like the doors are a bitch to get flat once dented.

Yeah thats what I thought too, and the door is Supreme Blue but from a 1.6L Astina - so the door handle & wiring would have to be changed over.

Took me all of 30 min to take the damaged door off my car and swap the glass and electric window wiring harness over.
If you want a hand I have done it before and know how to do it.
