They're quite nice tires, decent for the price and good for daily driving but i find them lacking the amount of grip id like to have when going for a spirited drive.

Thinking about getting some Kumho KU31's for my stock set of wheels, but at the same time id love to have a really nice set of wheels and tires (work, enkei ect) but it just isnt financially smart to have 3 sets of wheels and tires.

You can only spend what you can, i'm just a moron that spends ~50% of what he earns on his car.

Your car looks great mate, id love to see ours side by side, the only thing id recommend doing is clear side indicators, changed the look of mine a lot more than i expected.

I have clear side indicators currently sitting here.. Im working on it i swear! Also have some HID's coming in the mail, will do it all when the HID's get here...

To anyone who has installed them, did you just plug the HIDs in and they were a go-er? When i put them in the commodore i had to re-wire half the friggen car, ended up taking it to a auto electrician because i had nfi how they worked..

So, mazda simple? or is it complicated as hell like the commodore lol

Looking good, looks like your headlights could use a slight polish though?

The commodore shouldn't have been hard to do HIDs aren't just bulbs, they need ballasts, so you need to plug your ballast into the stock wiring then run the bulbs from the ballasts

Always have been illegal. Police decide to crack down one week/month, everyone removes them, police get busy and all are reinstalled. Tbh they haven't acted soon enough and now will be impossible IMHO due to the price...please don't put them in without the projectors, or I will personally rip them out haha

Headlights do need a polish, did them about a month ago but it came back.. Will have to sand them down and polish then.

Commodore was hard because it had automatic headlights (turn on by themselves) Because of that it was something to do with a relay and they wouldnt turn on because it was confused of the ballast lol... Or just Something about commodores being S h i t (I just went there haha) and having stupid wiring lol.

Damn straight they are illegal! Already got them coming in the mail unfortunately... However i never had any po po attention with the commodore and them, it even passed RWC with them. I'm only getting 6000k, anything more then your asking for trouble!

I need to learn to read better! Haha... Would like projectors...

For everyones interest future mods now include:

Front lip (the subaru type one)
HIDS (Matching bulbs all round)
New pedals (I seriously hate stock rubber ones) is there some mazdaspeed ones or something?
Fix new amp
Get around to installing the clear side indicators (I'll do this with the HIDS)
Fix faded headlights (Also do this with HIDS)
Fix scrape on front
Get side mirror repainted (Ones a faded black, looks to be replaced)
Replace front splits (they are about 1000 year old alpine ones, dont sounds as good as they could)
Cold air intake.

After driving around with projectors in I think my HIDs were less blinding to people driving in front of me though. Without auto-levelling if you go over a bump or over a crest the light is magnified into their eyes.

Regardless, it's so great driving around with a purple line bouncing over everything!

Very serious mods done today :P

Before:

After:

Also installed LED's in the number plate... They are bright but phone pictures fail.

I must say the indicators clean up the side of the car much better. Also buffed the scratch out as you can see! You can see my foot!
