Went and checked it all just now. Sadly there is barely any good places that you could fit 1 car, let alone 5 or more. Back to the drawing board.

trying to get a park anywhere near the lookout is hard enough for 1 car let alone 5+, lovers lane on the way up could be ok, but there is no lighting

Night shooting is too bloody hard. We should do some photos before or during the JDM meet at the end of the month.

No, not really. I literally only need a bit of light. I bring some flash and light... I just need some fill.

We always can just go to a underground car park. Some of them look really cool if they have fire hydrants and yellow lines

Mat and i did under the wheel (the one at southbank), the story bridge and kangaroo point at the bottom car park. The last isn't modified car friendly though, speed bumps are friggin huge

You can get underneath the gateway bridge in eagle farm pretty easy. It makes for some epic wide angle vertical shots. There should be a few cool places around the airport too. I know of one place where the plane watchers sit that is pretty close to a runway.

It would be EPIC getting a shot while a plane is coming in/on the runway

That little carpark next to the old airport?

Under the gateway would be cool I reckon

If the flame out by the port is burning it makes for a cool image in the back ground.

Any of the roads around here. Pick which place is closest to the fence pretty much. Dad works for Qantas flight catering and I reckon he would know if any planes are coming in that we could see.

@phil: Hell yeh luggage point, although we might need a tow if it's been raining.

Airport might be cool, although the planes have to be parked fairly close if we are doing it at night... Maybe a late afternoon might suit better????

Can always go under the gateway.

Alrighty. I just made the decision or we will be going "how bout here" for the next 12 years.

Location will be at the catering place at the airport. We shall meet at around 5PM. (I made it earlier, so we can get some sunlight, can see planes then)

If its too busy we can always have a mini cruise and we shall go under the gateway. So pencil it into your diaries for the 28th at 5PM. I'll PM you guys closer to the day with my phone number. Most likely i will be the one that gets lost so i'll need someone else's number
