Idle Problem
So ive had this problem with my car, when id stop at a light my car would sometimes drop revs as to the point of about to stall..then the revs would just come back up again. i changed the spark plugs and it felt fine for a few days..now its back again

My BJ has done that since near new. Dealer charged $74 to cean the IAC valve, to no avail. Still comes and goes. Doesn't like dropping to idle at the same time as AC turning on and/or power steering. The Twiggy cams aggravated the problem (unsurprislingly!). I hate my car's stock computer for a few reasons, the poor idle up control is one of them. Maybe someone has a solution other than a stupidly fast idle?

same kind of thing happens in my dads mercedes 300E... except sometimes the car actually stalls.
we changed the battery in it and got a new fuel head yesterday and its been running fine so far.. have you checked your battery? if theres something wrong with it low revs might not be enough to charge the battery/keep it going? not too sure if that makes any sense but it could be possible? |

Check for air leaks in the intake.
