Vacuum Hose with screw in end
Right so I have found a vacuum hose connected to the top of the engine intake (I believe that is what it is called, correct me if I am wrong.) It has a screw in the end and if you remove it while the engine is running it appears to be sucking air in. Car is a BA11F1 Astina Hardtop - 2.0 V6 http://1drv.ms/1HcgMyi Photos located at this link.

That's not a good sign. Can't remember where that one goes too. But unfortunately due to age some of the plastic bits fail so mechanics. just plug the holes. In some cases it's emissions but sometimes they are actually there for a reason. in a KF V6 it could be fore the VRIs system and you could be loosing performance somewhere in the rev range.

Thankyou for the reply. I managed to source some diagrams from the dealership the car was originally bought from and the vacuum hose appears to be from the system you mentioned. Am currently looking into certain parts to refit the hose.
