3pm at the bp goodna as per usual. leave there at 3:15 and no later so we're at the gates by 3:45, ready for the 4pm gates open and the good pits areas, aka concrete.

mate that is farrrrked....

rod dropage... ugh

what did they defect you for? I watched andy get booked tonight....lucky i didnt get booked because i was fighting mammoth torque steer and smoking up bad... saw about 8 coppers out just then when i went to pick the mrs up.

Hmm... Im working till 5 tommrow, so i wont be there till late.

Nate - Do you want a conselation run in my car? Its free so long as u promise not to rev it past 6.5k.

Also, extreemly bad luck man.

That ****s me hearing that. What in hells name are the cops going to get out of defecting a dead car? Are they going to stop the kid driving it from hurtin himself? No. Thats allready been done. Are they going to make the roads safer by removing this vehicle from the road? No, thats also already been done. Does the poor driver (nate) not have enough problems on his hands without loosing a point and 250 bucks?

IMO thats just plain abuse of power and overzealousness. Its this kinda stuff that gives cops a bad name.

Nate... You have my old engine... is there any hope at all of patching together a working engine from the two of them?

I really am sorry to hear this happened to you man, it couldnta happened to a nicer guy.

//edit I was out last night and the cops were out in serious force. I was at aspley maccas at around 9pm and there was a skylines australia meetup plus other random hotted up cars meet. I did a drivethrough to inspect what was there then drove off. I went to milton maccas for dinner at about 1030 and they were all there. Just as I was sitting down with my poision (read: mcdonalds food) the cops rock up in full force and start defecting people. The cars split very quickly and the cops followed them in all directions, walking past my astina and leaving it alone (its an astina - whos going to do up an astina? They had omgfulsik skylines droped on chromies and 2km exhausts to worry about).

Anyway we left shortly after the cops had mostly left chasing the fullsik cars around. We noticed a high concentration of cops around the city and northside. I think aspley got hit as well and with such a high volume of cops its no wounder one of them headed up clear mountain.

Was the cop nice about it at all? Did he say bl your car died? Or was he an asshole?

Also, I know you dont want to hear it, but im the one who says nasty stuff around here so...

was it really wise to be reving your engine to 7k?

And yes, I know, hindsight is 20/20+.

I may not be able to make it to the TNT tonight fellas. I gota work till 4pm or 5pm and I got no helmut (ENGRISH!).

If I finish at 4 I will see what I can do about getting there by 5, but at this stage it looks unlikely.
