I think the Bosch AeroTwin's are the way to go then! I'll be hunting around...
So not much to report, except for that my HID's are expected to arrive in the next few days (keen!) and I brought my dull and faded roof back to life! I lost quite a bit of Megs Ultimate Compound and Megs ColorX, but it turned out 10000000001% better than it did before. (I have no before pics to compare it to )...

I find a good rub with a clay bar followed by a polish brings up your paint work

My car had terrible water marks on it (Black for you) I used clay bar, megs compound and then the wax and its now shiney as the day it rolled of the showroom floor.
Defiantly hit it with some wax if you haven't already. |

Yeah, wax was the next item on the agenda, however as soon as I finished with the ultimate compound, the rain hit
I'll save the wax for another day

Quick Photoshop:
And I also decided to kill some time... However uni has been pretty hectic, assignments here and there, now exams in the next week, so no mods planned as of yet! Will re-commence though when I'm on holidays!

Is there much of a difference between 4-1 and 4-2-1 extractors? I've been having a look at a few different types, and I have my eyes set on either the OBX ones (4-1) or the Hurricane ones (4-2-1). Is someone able to tell me the difference?

One goes from 4 pipes into 1.
The other goes form 4 pipes into 2 pipes then the two pipes go into one! Lol But if ou are asking for "what's the performance difference between the 4-1 and 4-2-1" I really couldn't answer that. From what I have seen and experienced... Really no difference between them. All really depends on the actual design. If that makes sense. One brand/ design of 4-1 headers could out perform a set of 4-2-1 But another brand of 4-2-1 could out perform 4-1 headers. But still... Would be an un noticeable difference on a basically stock car

On this topic, my exhaust at the moment is just a mild steel system and press bent as far as I know, so will it be worth upgrading to mandrel bent stainless steel? Its also a 2" pipe.

Yeah, the top or bottom end power band depends on the manifold runner length in comparison to each of the runners. And the runner lengths overall. So short runners or long runners.
Pretty sure the OBX have very long runners. And I think there might be a bit of a fitment issue with them???? Think I read that somewhere. And yeah, mandrel is always nicer. If you are going to the effort of headers, should do the rest in mandrel. Hi flow cat would probably make a big difference too.

4-2-1 are apparently better for midrange torque, 4-1 are a bit better for top end. But that's a pretty broad statement - it does depends on the manufacturer and specific design really.

Ahh I see
I think as it is only a 1.6 and I can't really make it perform better (without an engine swap), I better focus on the handling sides of things!

Yep, that's the way to go!
Exactly what I'm doing. Money is better spent on handling
