yeah, the KF-ZE pump is the same as the KL... that works too
it's not quite so easy to get locally... you see, I have to drive across town to the wreckers, then I have to rip out all the crap that's in front of the oil pump... crank pulley, timing belt covers, timing belt, sump, etc... so unless the motor has already been disassembled and pump is out of the car, it's too much PITA to deal with it the back side of the KL oil pump looks similar the FS one.... I don't need the whole pump unit itself, I just want the the two gears inside: the screws can be removed with a torx socket shipping the entire pump will cost too much in postage, just the pump gears alone can fit in a small packets bubble envelope and should be very cheap as uninsured airmail I want those pump gears to measure and experiment in a FS oil pump housing... to see if it's possible to use them with an FS motor because the crank seal (fitted to the outside of the oil pump housing) between the FS and KL are the same, leading me to believe it could be done... if it can be done, this will be a good cheap upgrade because the KL pump can flow more/higher pressure rating I won't know until it's in my hands and tried
