thats a train trip and a half. i'm final semester business/IT double. can't wait to finish. friends are almost done psych courses, apparently they've been dumbed down in the last 5 years and its driving people nuts

train trip alright! all best with degree Psych studies were very drab when I did them. Dry, unfriendly atmosphere. Long haul too. You really have to want to go through with it to end

good on you sandman Your out there & employable obviously! I remember back in 99' I was completing a double Diploma in business & Management. Buggered if I knew what to do with me life @ the time. We were being taught a module, Conflict Resolution. Teacher said in the future (think about this) people won't be working in a factory for 20 years. We will have a Portfolio of Jobs. Casual not permanent

I'm probably going back to agency work soon & ditching the permanent bum kissing

Senior design engineer for a micro electronics company in Sydney. Deal with CMOS, MEMS wafer fabrication , testing, computer control robotics ,mechanical design, software & hardware integration, etc.

Have access to state of the art workshop & lab....perfect for working on car stuff.!!! Specially on weekends....

if u were in Sydney....i would have recommended u for my team!..lol... its not very easy to get into automotive industry....we have quite a few guys who used to work for ford (engine design ), Bishop (steering rack design for GM & ford) and Denso Asia. But what we do is nothing close to automotive stuff....we have multidisciplinary teams who develop an innovative technology!

yeha man thx its the thought that counts
i know its fkn hard to get in to the car industry as a engineer.. but thats the reason y i did mechanical engineering in the 1st place

student at wollongong university studying biologyical sciencesfirst year
work weekends at luessink engineering and fabrication finishing off jobs to get out on monday mornings this is great because i put the job inthe machine run the program and wait 2 hours for the next one to go into the CNC so i have plenty of time to make up stuff on the laves, cncs and robotic welder
and just about to start a night time job as a bartender at warilla bowls and sport club

i got no idea what i what to do went i finish my course but probs get into biology science teaching at my old high school they employ heaps of ex students

i got a job that i started this week working at the volvo and mack truck production
I work in the paint shop spraying and detailing all the cabs, bonnets and sleeper boxes.

I work at eagle boys as what ever really. Ive been there so long i just do what evers needed on the night.

Cant wait to finish my degree at QUT.

-studying sport devleopment at tafe
- so from that either go into 2nd yr of pe teaching at uni or go work as a development officer.
- causal at pauls warehouse (i sell shoes )
- then in the hoildays work for footbal(soccer) nsw as a coach ($$$)

I work for centrelink... They pay me money to be a student.. I'm at uni to be a graphic designer/web designer/developer/jack of all trades with any kind of computer based design.

Oh, job. right.

I work as a casual at coles, work is easy and pay is decent. So works out well. (I only work sundays, time and a half pay woot woot)
