CX-5 17's cheap in N.T. Might be worth emailing to see if the person is willing to ship, because these are very cheap!

This set is pretty cheap as they are "as new"

Cheap BA series II hardtop. Sounds like it needs a little oil.

Owner's desperate for money I think :P

I'd say it's been pranged, airbag's gone off and the front has been replaced with non-SP20 stuff.

I'd think he got an SP interior cheap and decided to do the rest of the car. SP20s AFAIK didn't have FP engines.

Nope, wasn't ever an SP20.
Has the wrong radio surround (black/rubber sides) it has the Light grey/beige interior, does not have the 'Climate control', wrong front headlights, No spoiler, wrong steering wheel.
and the sp20 door stickers are positioned to high.

I am almost certain this is the same "SP20" that i looked at when i bought mine... was definitely in a front ender... was quite a dodgy looking repair once you popped the hood!

EDIT: as above... engine number is FP

Many many others. Seat belt... Shine silver interior door handle. Sunvisor.
But the owner must spent a lot to try to turn it into a sp20 lol

No wrong it's from Fairtfeild. So it's all ligit car.

Just every part is from a stolen car. no that is unfair.

His or her Cuz had a SP20 it was in a accident and they just swapped it over.

is it just me or do the rear seats not look right.

Junk

rear seats have Integrated headrests in that car... the SP20 has separate headrests for the rear seats. (i didn't even notice until you pointed it out)
and my seats don't have those grey inserts in the back.

Mine is exactly the same as this:

http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/de...k&sort=default

also... for ****s and giggles I contacted that eBay seller:

Here is what i said:

Hello,
Just letting you know a few things about this car that you may or may not know.
It is not and SP20. A regular Protege sedan BJII.
Radio surround is non sp20 (sp20 has a silver surround)
Interior plastics are not the correct colour. The SP20's came out with Black Plastics (dash center console etc.)this car has the 2 tone Grey/ Light grey plastics.
The Headlights are not SP20 headlights. SP20 headlights have a separate High and Low beam globes and Projectors.
The Steering wheel is not an SP20 steering wheel, as the SP20's came out standard with a Leather Nardi 3 spoke wheek (perforated silver and black leather)
The SP20 door decals are also positioned about 1" too high.
This car does not have the Electronic/ Automatic aircon/ climate control.
Mainly, Engine Number.
it starts with an FP .... Meaning that the Engine is an FP-DE. Which is a 1.8L... not a 2L. The 2L is an FS-DE.
I am informing you so you don't run into any trouble with the sale from a buyer.
good luck with the sale.

This was the reply:

Quote:
As its not my car...its a friends car...i dont think i asked for opinions...he has told me that he will tell people...thanks anyway....but i will show him this....

So I thought... well its misleading ad... so I reported it.
Just seems a little dodgy to me... and I really don't like people trying to sell cars and making out that its something that it is not
