I would check your valve cover to make sure that you have the mounting points for the engine cover. There should be 4 threaded protrusions from the valve cover that allow you to bolt the engine covr down onto it.

If you dont have them, then look on the net for what is called a 'DGM engine cover bracket'. Not sure if they are made any more but they were definitely the best solution.

Cheers.

what? What did that come out on chicaboo? Its not worth swapping to a 2.0lt as the power difference is not that much, an the cost isnt worth it.

yeah you could prolly wire up an ecu from a mazda 2 to handle the new head. But a EMS would be give you gains accross the board, both cause of the new head and generally tuning. Advance timings e.t.c

Get cams reground as well and youd have a nice little setup going

(regrinds are about 150)

The ZM 1.5L SVT head from a Mazda2 might cost the best part of $1k, and then you need aftermarket management to control it [another ~$2k tuned]. But you would prolly make 15kW+ ATW, maybe as much as 20kW. With the turbo you know there are yanks pulling 240whp+ on stock internals...

Gav.
