g5m01- clutch

On the hunt for a decent clutch for the gearbox install. Im looking at running an mx5 clutch simply because of the variety and price. Consulting a few american suppliers, they have recommended running an NA6 clutch for the lower inertia. I'm concerned about starter motor compatability and any issues i might not be aware of. Before sending chunkloads of cash overseas and potentially more to return a non-usable product, i'd like to hear a few opinions. The specs are 200/24.5/22 for na6 clutch/flywheel included in kit.
Also BA p1 driveshafts right? Ba p1 speedo sensor alone or speedo ring too for lazer lynx box into BA s3?
Thanks guys, its getting there with your help

na6 is the same as f series clutch/fly
na8 is the same as g series clutch/fly

driveshafts all good as they go into the diff
speedo sensor all good, f/g 323/laser interchangable.

the outer diameter of the flys for both na6 (F) and na8 (G) is the same, so starter fitting wont be an issue. only the clutch plate steppers and fricton surface diameters are different.

i wouldn't go a na6 fly/clutch. the only reason miata bloke do it is to be on the cheap. the stock flys are 1kg difference. pick one up from the wreckers super cheap and buy the clutch when required to swap.

but if you are gonna buy lightweight fly, then maruha for example sell a na6 one at 3.6kg, and the na8 one is 3.9kg. so no point in going to na6 version.

Thanks Ryan. In your debt mate.

I followed up on the precision shims link and the head builder should have it all complete by mid nextweek.
Once it is all together and tuned enough to get up there, you can take it for a spin, eh?
