White R32 rims on Blue SP20

Hey all... I just fitted my new(ish) rims to my Starry Blue SP20! I bought a set of second hand R32 GTS Skyline wheels (16 x 6.5's) for $150 and had them sandblasted and 2 pac painted in Satin White. Swapped my tyres over and wha la! Instant tourer look! All up, cost me about $550... Not to bad i reckon. Just need to drop the bitch about 2.5 inches now!! hehe

P.S. Had to have the bore machined about 1mm to fit over hub but the offset is perfect.

I've got pics if anyone can host 'em for me!

ALSO... Where to buy TEIN Coilovers for the SP??

hey man. i own a black sp20 and was thinking about white rims, cleaning factor turns me away and money, but i love the look of big white rims on a car.

would love to see some pix. reduce their size a tad and create reader's ride here .

Finally managed to get pics up in reader's rides if anyone interested...

Click on the Left photo - that's the big one...

Now all i need is a big set of white GT stripes over the bonnet and roof and it'll be a tourer. hehe

They're not too hard to keep clean... just sponge 'em off like normal...

Surprisingly they don't show up the dirt any worse than the stockies. (until you wipe 'em!) hehe

As for similar ones... haven't seen another one with white rims yet and i've never been on the fast fours forums so it wasn't me...

I'll drop it eventually, but i wanna be careful and do it right... wouldn't want to ruin that awesome SP20 handling balance! Coils would be my ideal solution... then i can bugger around till i find the settings i like!
