K Mac have been around forever and make a good product.
How they compare on a particular model I couldn't say, but the Kings springs are the best I've used. On SP20s they are quite heavily progressive, you might look at K Mac's and compare in this way. My last springs were Pedders and they were a constant rate spring and rode like a bitch.

I have had lovell's, Jumboz (All Springs), Peddars, K-mac and cut standard springs...
Kmac are the best out all of those guys. They make what ever height you like too  I have peddars at the moment in the V6 and find it fairly rough for the height of the car. When money permitting I am thinking of getting eibach springs and koni's or whiteline springs and shocks.

I had a set of lovells and kyb sport shocks istalled all around and have been impressed with the improvment.
Cost was $1200 (inc fitting), so pretty good value for money

Heh.. ahh.. i remember the days of asking how much K-Mac's were at the local Bob Jane.. at in excess of $700 they can go out the back and pull it a little harder.. needless to say i didn't like their bull**** attitude anyway and proceeded to purchase my springs online from www.autospeed.com . Mine are the Whiteline Flatout coils..
Great price though dude! Well done! AP

any spring maker will make ur ordered hieght if you ask
what u do is measure the cars hieght not jacked up just sitting on level ground u then measure the compressed spring from top off spring to bottom off spring say that is 250mm an u want to drop it 50mm thats what u tell them they will then feed the info into the computer it will work out the size steel ,an the progressive rate if the model has it then they make ur springs for you an the price should be the same i had a set off lowering springs made for an 80series landcruiser yes that is rite a landcruiser lowered i dropped it 6" an cut the bump stops in half for a little travel there r many more shocking stories i can go on about but i want bore/shock you guys to much lol as stated u can have anything you like made u just have to ask

well kids, it's done, got the kmac springs in, '40 mm' drop. the rear springs could be moved around while fully jacked up (tyres off thr ground) is that a problem. should it be like that? (fronts are tight and don't move when car jacked up)

If I remember correctly as long as the springs are still captive when fully unsprung, then you shouldn't have a problem. When I say captive I mean they might be able to spin around on the mount, but as long as there is no chance of the spring coming off the mount you'll be fine...... unless of course it is low! 8)
