Where is the fuel filter on a 1992 Mazda 323 Astina 1.8L

G'day All,

New user to this forum. Recently purchased a 1992 Mazda 323 Astina 1.8L Fuel Injected Hatchback from a mate and am looking to do some minor servicing to it myself.

I have purchased a new fuel filter for it and was just wondering if it is located on the firewall a little bit down towards the passenger side, or if I am wrong and it is somewhere else on on the car?

Any help would be appreciated

Yep you found it, on the passenger side of the firewall in the engine bay. Do sparkplugs, engine oil, transmission fluid and coolant flush if you've just bought the car. Preventive maintenance never hurts.

Thanks Derb, have recently changed the oil and the air filter. Was well maintained by my mate but fuel filter hasn't be changed in ages.

Will do the rest as you have suggested.
