decent suspension house

hey guys,

i'm getting really itchy feet and want to put my springs on (only been sitting in my garage for 1.5months!!)
i'm thinking of suspension city in nth melb... anybody had dealings with these guys?
i just want to fit the springs and a decent wheel alignment.
looking at 120-150 for fitment and 40-50 for alignment... does this sound about right?

cheers,
Bill

I got a quote from BeauRepairs here in the Rat for fit and alignment for $150. Guess it's just a matter of shopping around.....

Yeah, i'm pretty much looking at 200 including alignment... got that from a couple of places too.
Payner, i'd rather get it done at a 'specialised' king springs dealer...even if it costs a bit extra, they know the kings settings well.

cheers,
Bill

I posted on melbccr forums and they had nothing but praise for the guys at Suspension City.
I will post pre springs and post springs pics up soon... woohoo!

Done!
Springs are in. the front is pretty damn low for a 35mm drop. i was told to drive around with a full tank of petrol for a couple of weeks to settle the rear of the car.
alignment due in 300kms, and it REALLY needs one! the steerings tugs to the left and right when i take off from the lights at grandpa speed.
a heap more road noise... why?!??

i'll post pics up when i can.

Send a message via ICQ to BigBoyLemonade
road noise is from and incorrect alignment or no alignment

I suggest getting a wheel alignment asap...

Did you use king springs?? There low option is about 40mm. I know it's only 5mm but anyways!! Look forward to seeing it on the 28th for the cruise!! Hopefully Dan will have his back too! .....and mine will hopefully be lowered too!!
