for BG owners, this is where it all gets tricky. the bottom of the strut is the same as the BA but the strut top is different. i've been asked this before. i'll have a set that be going into my car with the next 2 weeks. i'm gonna track down a BG and see if the BA 1s will fit minus the strut top.

OUCH - i just rang HotBitz today, they are based in Melbourne, VIC. Prices for BGs/BAs/BJs are as follows: -

height only coilovers - $1979
height + damper coilovers - $2478

they will over a discount for 1% per extra unit brought, up to a maximum 30 units (30%.) even at that maximum discount, the coilovers would be $1386 / $1735 each + shipping cost. and up to $70 to ship/post. plus i don't see us on AstinaGT getting 30 people to buy at the same time so the maximum discount wouldn't apply.

Personally i find those prices over-the-top. The maximum discounted prices are okay but i know other companies have same quality for same or better prices.

Perhaps you did not take note of what make and model the ebay bid is for?

They are slightly different - the shock in the D2 has more adjustability than the G4. Mainly everything else is the same except colour.
