Hey all, this is our sp20.
We bought it about 3 months ago, to replace the gutless, SOHC, CG lancer.
Not too sure how far I should modify this one, as it's the missus's daily. But, the ball has started rolling, and who knows where it will stop.

I started off by replacing the fog lights with a set of LightForce 140 lance driving lights. These are a sensational improvement in the lighting. We do a bit of country driving. High beam now is basically line of sight. Meaning as far as you can see, there is light.

After spending a few hours searching around this, (very good, mind you), site, I pulled out the dremel to perform the CAI mod. I cut out between the grille mouldings and punched the plastic diffuser out of the AFM. I reckon theres a slight increase in response and economy.

I then fit a Devil sports muffler to the stock rear pipe. The whole exhaust is the next mod..

Time for handeling..
A mate who imports jap cars/cuts brought in an RE Amemiya FC RX7. I snapped up the wheels for $100 each.. They are 18x8 Rays Engineering with a +38 offset. We fitted them with Federal 595's in 205/30/18, and I painted the centres black.

While the wheels were off, I whacked in a set of Pedders 85mm lowering springs to the stock struts. They are in good nick, and I was surprised how good these things are from factory.

I just finished blacking out the headlight inserts.
We are happy with the way the car is coming along, and I am very impressed with the build quality Mazda puts into these things.

Next up..
I'll knock up a 2 1/2 inch mandrel bend mild exhaust, and buy/make a set of headers.

Clear repeaters

Pop in a decent head unit, amp, and speakers

And maybe turbo.. not too sure if we want to reduce it's reliability.. Thats what the 13b turbo RX7 is for..

Thanks for reading!
Greg
