BG 1.8 Sohc turbo?
 

Hey guys, after doing a bit of looking and researching around, I've heard stories of people that've turned the Sohc B8 motor into a turbo. Curious to find out if any one on here has done it before.

gets asked all the time. never seen or heard anyone actually do it. been around a long time. it would be a custom job mostly. be cheaper and easier to do a dohc swap with turbo bit or turbo engine swap than muck around with a sohc.

not worth it
cast crankshaft and weaker internals.... poor flowing head and limited valvetrain too
