Short answer is yes.
Long answer is WHY??? It would be cheaper to find a GT-X and do a straight bolt in than rebuild a B8, fabricate manifolds and all other mods.

find a full turbo kit for a B8 for under $1000 and show us...when i say full i mean ecu, manifolds, wiring, intake, exhaust, turbo, oil lines & so on

and please dont buy a turbo of ebay.. to make a proper turbo a lot of time and effort has to go in to desing the blades, bearings, materials, processes for best results, housings, proper shaft balancing and thats just to name a few.. there is a reason why new ones cost so damn much for a piece of alloy.. the problem with the cheap ones of ebay is that the blades cant take it and rip them selfs apart and your engine eats them up.. then what happens???

sorry but if $1,000 is your budget. best to forget the turbo idea all together...

yeah sure, one with a hole in the block. which will run about the same as a $1000 turbo kit for the b8..

for $1000 sell the BG and buy a SP with the DOHC engine and the nice trimmings. really no point turboing the B8, you'll maybe achieve 110-120kW. which isn't much more than a N/A BP with cams, ECU etc. definately won't compete with the BP turbos

i've decided to go n/a to gain as much kilowattage as possible.

N/A isn't about the highest kW possible young padwan :)

N/A can make good numbers but its about the art of the engine itself, the harmony of everything working together to give you fantastic response, pickup and noise.

An engine that has less kW but awesome response and is built to work within the chassis, and tranny will give better results than a higher powered randomly built turbo. if you want big power, go turbo. if you want to spend money for less kW go N/A. but it you are a motor junkie like me, you will enjoy it.

oh my mistake sorry, yeah there don't seem to be any of the short shifters on eBay at the moment. they pop up a fair bit though.

sorry in addition, the exhaust will all be done at a shop, so unless you want an eBay muffler theres no point in using it. you can usually get some sard/malpassi FPR's on eBay, but I'd rather buy through a store so you can have the aftersales support (not much price difference on malpassi's if you buy through eBay or somewhere else)

WOAH! what the hell is a mechtician? fuel pressure regulator you will be able to install yourself if your mechanically minded and have common sense as its to do with the fuel lines...

im just trying my own lingo y'all haha (mechanic..)

i am made of metal but not quite so mechanically minded, but i have been programmed with some sort of common sense.

maybe someone can help me with this at some point once i get my 'stino.
