not really expensive because to do a full case legal for pod is worth that amount the time the labour etc tigging it up - hell I would want $200 for it.
but here is the funny bit it still maynot be totally legal- theoretically but if a officer did see it they would let it go.
1 or 2Kws would just be the restriction from the intake of the airbox.
if you used a panel and ran a decent CAI you would match if not perform better then with the pod
