u can go to jay car, they sell double sided taped velcro,
i did the exact same install, worked perfectly

To make sure it really sticks well, you can stitch the velcro to the carpet (velcro side up of course) and the other strip really sticks well to the bottom of the amp, personally i never bothered stitching it, seeing as the sticky part on the bottom of the velcro stuck to the carpet really well.

It's a good place to install, provided the amp is reasonably small and there is sufficient room over the top of the amp for air to flow, you don't want it touching the bottom of the seat. also, theres a vent down there (at least in the BA) so that seemed to provide some good coooling ventilation, whenever you turn the fan to cool your feet.
