You dont need to find TDC if you are replacing the timing belt.

Mazda made it really easy to align a new timing belt on these engines...

Googling said topic brings up 100s of how to's online. As only as you align everything correctly, and folling the install instructions, then everything should be where it needs to be to fire it up.
