Help needed, BG taillights,parkers and instrument lights not working!
Hey,
I have problem. The parking lights, rear tail lights and instrument cluster lights in my Bg astina do not work. checked the interior and engine bay fuse boxes and nothing was blown. checked all bulbs and they weren't blow either. Had a look at headlight/parker stalk and bridged out the terminals and they had no effect, although i don't have a set of wiring diagrams. Any suggestions? I'm a electrician by trade, (industrial) but don't know this car very well. Thanks, Mitch.

I'm not sure how similar the eunos 30x/mazda mx-3 wiring is to the Astina but I had a similar problem like that. My parking lights, brake lights, and instrument lights stopped working but my headlights still worked. It ended up being one of the big fuses in the engine fuse box that was blown. It didn't like it was blown though... I would take them out and hold them up to a light or something to see... if that's what it is, it's a simple fix... beyond that I have no idea.

Tail fuse blowing would cause that, try swapping it with another

Update = Fixed.
Removed the combination switch block/stalk and inspected the contacts, contacts were making but had some oxidization on the tips, cleaned and all good works every time! Heres some photos that will help alot!

cleaning up the contacts may work but it will fail again. i cleaned mine out numerous times until i replaced it because it was getting very dangerous at night when they randomly switch "off". you should grab a good one from the wreckers and keep it in your car just in case it does die on you
