well the turbo with the hi-boost kit is an IHI VF-22
about the biggest turbos direct bol on for a WRX STI takes up to 24psi safely and is ball-bearing... spools nice and does the job nicely... getting mine hi-flowed this month actually as i don't see why i would change turbos for the application...

I would be keen to know what hi-flowing a VF22 entails. It is as far as I know
the largest IHI WRX turbo, what intake wheel will they then be upgrading to ?? Are you still running the VF22 with the wrx flange on it and the 18R housing and you still find it spools up well. I have a VF12 which is about the same size as the VF22 but not ball bearing keen to know what changes are possible. Regards Mal
