BA 323 rear swaybar sizes

Gents,

Looking to clarify swaybar sizes for the BA (1.8L and V6).

I've seen both 16mm and 18mm refered to as the stock rear swaybar diameter. I'm aware uprated 20mm mazdaspeed and whiteline swaybars are a popular upgrade.

Anyone know which it is? Is one 1.8L and the other V6? I'm asking as I'm wondering if a cheap upgrade is possible by grabbing a V6 swaybar from the wreckers and putting it on a 1.8L.

Cheers.

Hmmm. I've measured my 1.8L rear swaybar diameter to be 16mm.
