Stock SP20 muffler musings

A friend got a muffler made up for an SP20 Astina so it bolts straight on and the stock one can be swapped if needed (SABBAI). I was wondering what the stock one is actually like flow wise and whether replacing it would cause more restiction or whether the stock one is pretty ordinary anyway. Any thoughts?

stock muffs are always insanely restrictive because of noise requirements

At this time of night, there are so many ways I could go with that statement

anyway I'm guessing that if its slightly louder it should be ok noise wise and should be less restrictive?

i put an axleback magnaflow (straightthru) muffler on my car and i reckon the reduced restriction is noticable, it diddnt really make the car feel faster, just better flowing higher up in the rev range, free-er revving. Magnaflow has a great tone (the best i have heard in my opinion) and its not overly loud either, everyone elses seem to be louder, except GAV with his new x-force that is almost like stock. But my lowish noise level could be due to the stock piping up to the axle keeping things quiet.

Yes I am very happy with the XForce twin-loop, best accidental find of all time. But it's kind of dissappointing in a way, since I don't hear anything from it, it'd be nice to have some sort of tone. The only real noise I get is induction drone from the CAI at higher revs, and maybe some ringing from the header and larger pipework up the front...
