the carmate kit is about 1700-1800 supplied and fitted .

the mazda sp20 kit is almost 3 grand if you do it properly with sp20 grills and what not .

tidy has spent 1200 on the front sp20 bar alone

$1200 on the front bar alone? DAMN!!!!! that $1700-$1800 looks far better even with them being tossers

My SP bodykit was all 2nd hand except for the wiring loom and switches, it came to $2100 after everything was fitted and painted. I'm happy with it, I like the lines of the Mazda bodykit, the Wings West kit is a bit full on for my taste. But I do like the bonnet, if only I could get it without the wings on the top!

Fat, I wonder though about the little depressed scoop on the left hand side over the fuse box though?

yeh 1200 was for . the bar (507), (330 in grills), driving lights (150), painted (150). um driving light relays, as its illegal not to have them hooked upto your high beams

so it all adds up

a second hand kit is the go forsure if you can find one.

fuse box is sealed and will be fine.

not sure about the fogs having to be hooked up to the high beam - the stock sp20 has them hooked to the parkers. i think you're confused about driving lights. driving lights can only be hooked up to the high beam

ive dealt with carmate once and they seemed alright, the bar was here 2 days later and in good nick, but i agree i have heard some bad stories.

my current car is sponsored by viva garage in adelaide and they do mazda kits, but only rx7 but im about to get into talks with them in regards to getting more kits for the 323, because im currently a honda boy i didnt realise how many people actually do up 323s but since ive been on here i now know they arent as uncommon as i first thought, so ill keep you all posted on how i go.

Im heaps happy with how the sp20 kit is coming out, i sometimes wish i went with the wilder wings west style kit but i dont like being treated how i was treated by carmate and i like the idea of my kit being plastic as its alot more durable than Fibreglass and much easier to repair.

With the driving lights they are awsome I may only be able to use them when i have my High Beams on but they are much brighter than the headlight even with highbeam on and it has effectively doubled the light.

Mine are considered foglights and operate with the parkers independant of the headlights and hibeam. I've found they've filled the hole that's in the 1.8s headlights, it really makes them acceptable. They're still nothing flash compared to my 99 Camry's headlights, which were almost like spotlights at times, but they're much better than before...

Put it in the FS section if you want to move it mate, I'm sure there's someone out there keen to whack a SP20 bar on their car too.

I paid 260 for my grill and 55 bucks for my bottom ne after a 7% discount, they are a bloody rip off. As far as talon kits go are they the same as the ones forsale at Sydney Special Vehicles if so they are side skits and a front and rear lip.
