HMT's '94 BA (Project L)

Hi all,

just thought i'd post up pictures and history of my dear BA...right, here we go:

Bought in Jan 2001 with 33.000km on the clock

(actually taken at my school yard )

Fittet a new xhaust and fog lamps - as for the wheels, well, umm, was winter at the time...

2002
Got huge 15" alloys (as opposed to 13")

also some minor modifications

...aand got it lowered

2003
Again small mods

side skirts and tinted windows

2004
new alloys and interiour stuff

some color coding

and bought a 2nd BA

2005

changed the exhaust

didnt like the exhaust and changed it back, got new suspension and front lip

new alloys and modified bumpers:

@the club meeting 2005

getting a paintjob

and finished for the time (with custom mirrors)

2006
tested 17" alloys for some time

taillight experiment

didnt like either - got different alloys though: my current MOMO GT2 7.5x17"

Hmm, and some pictures of fitting the aircon:

The car was sleeping throughout 2008 and I didnt do much in 2009 except getting a BP05

...and some goodies

Didnt really have time but started deconstruction

Also started cleaning up axles and new brakes

My car family:

Leather experiments

Currently playing around with the speedo (see here http://www.project-l.com/images/bast...cho/thumb.html).

Cheers,
Chris

PS: Still a lot missing in the story - should be enough for now though!

Well, i didnt test it, if that's what you mean...however it's wired to the airbag ECU and there's no error code.

Almost right - that was at the german side of the alps near lake constance, a region called "Allgäu" - black forest is a bit to the northwest from there (and one of the most lovely regions on the world imo - highly recommended ).

More pictures from that day:

Just out of curiosity what does the symbol on the back window mean?

I agree.....its one of the most beautiful places I've been to and the best scenic drive I've ever done. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive.....nice windy road with pictures scenery (all roads I driven in Europe are far ...far ...better than Australian roads!!!) . I was there last summer in the black forest region when I went from France to Switzerland crossing borders during my annual European tour. Those pine trees are very unique for that region....I even visited the cuckoo clock factory and bought one! remember those cows with big bells!!
