Some how they put my aac bumper "sag" brackets on backwards so will be fixing them up on the weekend along with putting my new strut braces on

I managed to take some before pics of the bumpers, before it went to paint, and took some after pics when i got the car home

All the damage to the front bumper happened before I lowered it hahaha

So spent the weekend putting in my new Corksport Strut bars

Front bar was easy as pie, and the rear bar was such a pain in the a** that it made up for it when i took the car for a drive around some twisties to test it out.

Wasn't the cleanest install of the rear bar but its in and doing its job.
Had to modify the seat belt holder bracket that goes ontop of the rear struts.

There was no room to do the nut up closest to where you bolt the bar to the bracket so I modified the nut to fit. Still no room to do the nut up with a
socket so had to do it up with a spanner and pole through the ring side of spanner and make it like a T piece, nut was tight and all good.

Front Brace. Engine bay needs a wash

Rear Brace in

Next on the list is Rear sway bar and suby lip

It wasn't a perfect install but its in now, yea took it for a drive round town going through all the roundabouts,
still some body roll in the rear, but it fells so much better now that there is actually some support there.

Rear sway bar will eliminate whatever body roll is left

yea man its pretty ridiculous, mate of mine a while back took his tidy vl for a drive to the foreshore in newy,
come back with 3 defects, wheels too big, washer bottle empty and aftermarket seats,
best part of the story he bought the vl from a cop..... so figure that one out lol

Thursday nights in the foreshore are a no go guaranteed a defect and a trip to the pits....

ive been through a few rbt's and nothing yet, im sitting 110mm from the ground and have over-sized wheels so you would suspect something but so far so good.

but your only +2 in sizes it's legal the toyo website has a full like info page on it,

man that sucks so were do people go and chill out with cars? we all go down the harbour and chill there if everyones being good ya won't see a cop, but then someone will do a skid and then you'll have a cop car come threw, and if it keeps happening they'll just kick us out never had anyone defected down there

think state law is +1 -1 wheel size

usually its the foreshore in town or kooragang island, people been going to kooragang for over 30 years
(there was even a old movie filmed there with an old crhysler charger) with old muscle cars toranas falcons etc...
burnouts drags u name it its been done. now cops swarm the place whenever a bunch of people begin to do stupid crap down there

it has eventualy come to this

Yeah ive heard that too, make sure that water is full =] haha,
Im tossing up between 17" Sp-23 rims or yours.. either way they are going Blaaaaaaaaack
Mate in the RTA told me the cops were going to be in the foreshore last thursday, and apparently the thursday before, 22 cars were taken to the pits and only 2 weren't defected...
He said half the defects weren't even for mods though, but for things like dodgy brakes etc!!!
BTW, what kinda drop you got on those coilovers?

Your allowed to go 2" bigger in rim size as long as you keep the same rolling diameter. If rolling diameter changes you must get your speedo Re calibrated and engineered. And pretty sure it was a 1.5" increase in width.
Then there is also another limit on increasing your track.
But yeah... Every time I get pulled over I get told how lucky I am by the police (I am the boarder line for all of those). I simply reply... It's not luck... I actually read the rules before installing them.

^^ the cops love that and usually thank me for keeping within the regulations and become all nice. Then usually comment in how well the rims sit

My brothers 300 has 18" rims that are 9" wide with 45 series tyres. (Speedo Recalibrated) It's currently at 80mm ride height. And a hugeeeee suspension mod list.
So that has a 2page engineers slip

That just reminded me. Bin fell off a ute in front of me going onto the M4 and 100k's
Put a hole in my lower grille and scratched the hell outa my front bar. So I feel your pain.

But hey! Now it means I have some lower mesh stuff to use on my autoexe grille
Just gotta look at the bright side.

All that is telling you is to put that front lip you had on...
At least it woulda saved the paint
